From the beginning, BlueLink IT has combined enterprise-level technical experience with the personalized service and accountability of a locally owned business. Our focus is on building lasting relationships and helping organizations make technology work for them.
Meet Our Founders
Dharam Khalsa — President
Dharam began his IT career at a small consulting firm in Española during the early days of e-commerce. Like many technology professionals of that era, he was drawn to California during the Silicon Valley boom.
Working with iLogistix’s special projects team, he gained experience on projects involving companies such as SAP and Compaq. Despite the opportunities in California, he eventually returned to New Mexico, drawn by its blue skies, open spaces, and, as he recalls, “of course, chile.”
Dharam went on to manage a network team supporting nearly 16,000 employees, gaining firsthand experience with the demands and standards of large enterprise environments.
He also recognized an opportunity to bring that level of technical knowledge and professionalism to smaller organizations while delivering a more personal customer experience.
Determined to build a business that combined technical expertise with strong customer relationships, Dharam spent time developing his sales and client service skills. “I took a year and really learned to sell,” he recalls. “During that year, I knew I really wanted to keep with it, but do it better.”
Lakshmi Khalsa — Owner and Founder
Lakshmi recognized the opportunity to build an IT services company that would bring enterprise-level professionalism to small and medium-sized businesses.
In 2008, she founded BlueLink IT as sole proprietor and brought Dharam on as president. Together, they established a business that combines technical expertise, customer service, and sound business management.
Lakshmi oversees the financial and business management aspects of BlueLink IT, including hiring and organizational operations. Dharam leads the company’s technical, creative, and sales efforts.
As Lakshmi explains, “I believe we take the professionalism developed in the enterprise environment, and provide that quality of service to our small and medium size business clients.”
